Self-made tangolero etymologist told me about the etymology of

     -) איlike in (אי-רצון . The key word is אי-ים.

Etymology seems very interesting to me, although I'm just a layman.

Didn't understand your post... does it mean that the negating "אי" comes originally from the word island (אי) ?

Yes, that's what he meant. Etymology seems very interesting to me as well, but admit, that in some circumstances, it's completely redundant (poetry is by far more superior).

for each object A there are some sircumstances B for which A is completely redundant in B.
E.g., in these very circumstances the usage of Latin-letter pseudo-logical formalism is completely redundant.
And in latter circumstances, the last remark is as well redundant.
